By The People's first Local Initiatives Summit focused on three pressing issues currently affecting Utah citizens: Housing, Education, and The Great Salt Lake.
We were honored to bring together very knowledgable and diverse panels of speakers, who came together to discuss the issues through new lenses -- shedding light and bringing public awareness to causes, potential solutions, and calls to action.

It’s a critical time to educate and empower communities on public policy, to help combat political radicalization and misinformation.

In addition to themes of local communication and cooperation, the event features regional-specific topics.
Moderators and panels are selected from across the aisle to learn what common solutions & goals can be identified.
Upon registration, you can opt to ask a question and participate on what matters to you.

Secure a politically diverse panel that can pledge their participation and submit individual takes on the issue beforehand
Provide a moderator who is knowledgeable on the issue and can hold neutral space for debate
